South Pennsylvania Construction
The homeowners of this Platte Park bungalow were in desperate need of more square footage as their family was expanding. They loved their location and felt very comfortable in their neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby, but they just didnít have enough space. They decided to move forward and build the much needed extra room, by not only adding an addition to the side of the house, but a second story as well.
The homeowners moved into a rental a few blocks away and construction began. The on staff architect and company president made sure every last detail was taken into consideration from the tearing off the old roof, to the building of the addition and second floor. A complete remodel was done on the existing spaces, and interior finishes were selected to perfectly mesh the old with the new. The homeowners gained a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen in the newly configured main floor, and upstairs they now enjoy 2 large bedrooms, a guest bath and a luxurious master suite. At the end of construction, approximately 1,800 additional square feet were added and the project was completed 5 weeks early. This home will serve their growing family for years to come!
