South Vine Construction
This charming 1906, story and a half Victorian in East Washington Park underwent a dramatic transformation when its square footage grew from 1,997 to 2,661. Along with the extra living space, came top of line finishes and an inviting larger wrap-around covered front porch.
The owners had a love for the original home, but wanted to enhance it by updating the bedrooms and bathrooms, and completely renovating the kitchen into a chefís dream.
Other additions to the home included main floor laundry/mud room adjacent to the detached garage, new large family room with access to the front porch and back patio, second floor master suite with large master bathroom and a relaxing soaker tub, extensive use of slate and slab granite through-out and a wonderful new walk-in closet for todayís storage needs.
Once completed, the homeís additions had a welcoming feel while giving a respectful nod to itís rich past and heritage, making it not only beautiful, but valuable for another 100 years.
